How this online course works

Completing a nursing assistant course requires three components:

  1. Classroom training (51 hours) – this online course replaces this portion only.
  2. Laboratory skills training and practice (24 hours) – completed in a classroom.
  3. Clinical work experience (75 hours) – completed at a work site with real clients.

To apply for admission into a full training program:

1

Click 'Start a new application.' You’ll see a list of classes that are currently accepting applicants, as well as details for those classes, including cost and schedule.  Review these details and select a class that works for you, if any.  New classes get posted on a regular basis, so if you don’t see a class that works for you today, check back from time to time.

2

Click 'Apply' and complete the application form.

Review your completed application and submit it.  Once you’ve completed an application it will be saved so you can apply for other classes without re-entering the form. Note the Key number that will help you quickly retrieve your application; you may want to write it down some place handy. You will have an opportunity to review and update your application before you use it for a second class.

Training organizations (those who have posted the class announcements) will contact applicants directly – Apply2Care does not have any ability to accept students into training programs.  If you are not contacted for a class you have applied for, you may need to apply again to a new class.

Thanks for applying today and good luck on your career growth!
